Photography became part of my life long before digital — in college darkrooms, on road trips, and anywhere I could watch the light change.
I started with my Grandmother and my Dad, who were always taking pictures and documenting everything. Looking back, I realize how invaluable those photographs became.
Today, Studio 1800 is more than a business to me. It’s the culmination of a lifelong love for people, places, and the stories that connect us.

My Grandmother and Dad were always behind the camera. They documented everything, and that deeply influenced me.
Learning & growing
College photography classes, weekends in the darkroom with my Aunt Pam, and continuing my education in San Diego shaped both my skills and my creative eye.
Turning passion into purpose
When my daughter Hailey was born in 2001, I wanted to capture every little moment.
Two years later, I launched Studio 1800 Photography — and I’ve never looked back.
